A club event has a drug problem, would i be doing the right thing?

I live in wales, there is a club thats successful and doesnt have any problems most of the time but they hold dubstep/drum and bass nights, and on these nights the drug problem is massive.

The people working in the club must be aware because drugs and dubstep go hand in hand.

My boyfriend has been into dubstep, and has been taking drugs but hes stopped now. I really really want to do something about it, I have reported one drug dealer, but i dont know how much can be done without any evidence.

I want to email the manager of the club and tell him im worried and that i think they should do a search on people as they go in. On normal nights they search people for taking alcohol in so i don't understand why they dont do proper searches for drugs too.

Just want a bit of advice really, thank you.

I think that it's super important that if you report this to the authorities, you do so anonymously. I think that e-mailing the club owners is a terrible idea. I also think that the cops and club owners  realize that people do drugs at night clubs.

You know, if you got that club to inspect everyone and make it uncomfortable for drug users, they'd just go somewhere else. They wouldn't stop using.

And to the people who say that she should let people do drugs, you must be young. Drugs will ruin your brain, and by the time you realize it, it will be far too late.

I would take a serious look at your belief/view point. I dont know of any music in which fans or artists drugs go hand in hand. Thats a prejudice plain and simple. Drugs is a choice of the individual. If you see drugs being taken anywhere you should report it to both the police and the proprietor (i would do this anon if i were you)

Or another option is just mind your business.  Avoid going to the club on rave nights.  Searching for alcohol (big bottles) is much easier than searching for a 1/4 inch pill.
