Do teachers check their email in the summer?

I just emailed my teacher a question, it's not SUPER important, but I'd prefer that she reply.

School just got out the 2 days ago, and I know teachers had to be at school yesterday for meetings/clean up etc. Also, my friend emailed my teacher yesterday, and the teacher replied. But I don't know if teachers will be looking at their emails anymore for the duration of this summer.

If it helps, I attend a Seattle Public School.

Thanks!

Of course!
Ive emailed many teachers during the summer and they have all replied.
Just because its summer doesn't mean they stop using their email address.

Yes, but less often generally. While school is in session, teachers are required to check their email at least once a day for announcements, etc. But, when it's out of session, they are not required to check it at all; most do anyway because it's a quick and easy way to keep in touch with each other and students.

i'm a instructor and that's what I do. I dont examine my college e mail in any respect in the process the summer season, in spite of everything that is summer season and that i dont elect to hearken to from different instructors, mom and dad and school appropriate issues. I provide out a summer season packet and childrens frequently have questions so I provide their mom and dad my everyday e mail which a examine each week or 2 and in the event that they also have a huge question i will respond. each instructor has there very own way of doing issues, I also have a very good buddy who teaches a grade under me and has no infants of her very own so she exams her college e mail daily year around consisting of summer season. i'd attempt to e mail her/him and if she responds thats super, yet whilst no longer dont think of he/she isn't listening he/she probable in simple terms doesnt examine their e mail in the process the summer season.
