I'm 16 and this just started about a week ago. Both of my legs, especially my right leg fall asleep 2-4 times a night and I have to wake up and hold the leg thats asleep out and wait for it to get feeling again. Its completely dead when I wake up if I poke it I dont feel a thing and it dosent tingle much. What could it be?

well your legs have to sleep at night, too, silly!
Its all about blood flow. Usually when legs or limbs fall asleep its because u have fallen asleep with it bent or tucked in. Preventing blood flow from going to the outer limbs. He may be falling asleep in positions where his legs bend at the knee. Next time he is asleep, quietly walk in a pull down the blanket. Check the position of his legs. see if they are in a bent or tucked in position. If it is bent or tucked in then u know that is the problem (blood flow). If they are straight, u may need to see a doctor about it to enquire further.
Might be some sort of growing pain, you should consult a doctor about it, i used to get cramps in my feet, but added magnesium as diet supplement solved that out. If it is poor circulation, then i suggest taking an aspirin before going to bed, it will generally increase the bloodflow because it enlargens the veins in your body.
If you're feet/legs hang off something when you sleep, then that's it almost for sure. If they don't then, as mentioned before, probably poor circulation, and, at the very worst, maybe a blood disease.
