I have well over enough credits for an associates degree but never graduate...?

So can i list on my resume i have one? I'm 24 credits away from bachelors degree (returning october 2010)
But i need a job now and it would like really nice on there. I deserve it. I have been freelancing in my field so long.

It just takes one HR audit and you would be out on your tail. Don't do it -

It is certainly acceptable to state that you have XX hours in college and that you are "working toward my Bachelor's Degree in [insert major here]"
Then when asked you can explain that you will be taking the occasional course in night school.

No, you have not completed the requirements for the associates degree. Just earning enough credit isn't enough, you need to pick a major, satisfy the course requirements, and take the required general education classes.

No. Unless you have the actual degree from an accredited school you cannot say you have a degree.

You cannot claim a degree that you don't have. You may "deserve" it in your mind, but if you've never received the degree then claiming it would be fraud.
