Does WestJet allow booze in checked luggage?

Flying in Canada from Ontario to Nova Scotia. It's a plastic 60 pounder, unopened.

The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority permits alcohol in checked bags, with certain limitations.

* The percentage of alcohol by volume is 70 per cent (140 proof) or less
* For alcoholic beverages, between 24% and 70% alcohol by volume, the quantity does not exceed 5 litres per person.

Note: alcoholic beverages containing 24% alcohol or less are not subject to limitations on quantities.

Just make sure that the bag can't be opened by the handlers. They could end up partying at your expense.
