Well you've got some explaining to do. :)

Seriously, you shouldn't trust gadgets to hide your deepest secrets. If you keep photos of yourself in the buff, smoking whatever, or going to a party where you weren't supposed to go, a gadget isn't going to protect the snoopy dad from seeing it. If you're going to do something that you wouldn't want your parents to know, better be a good criminal and eliminate all the evidence! On a network, they can keep transcripts of your texts. These are worthy court evidences and can put people in jail.Texts are the worst.

Parents are just there to protect you. After all, they are liable for every shenanigan you get yourself into. Until you turn 18, your mistakes are your parents' mistakes. And guess who has to pay? Them. Your dad was a teenager too and he knows what teens are up to regardless of which year it is. A lot of teens get inappropriate photos of themselves online just because they were careless enough to pass their photos around or keep them in their phones/computers for a thief to steal. That's really not the way to go. The good news is, your dad was a teenager once and he knows what goes on in your head. He has to forgive you regardless of what you do.

btw, some programs are able to access old information on your phone even if it's been deleted. How do I know? Because I've used them to restore some old photos. I doubt the network would have any way of getting any of these photos.

Awww. Parents suck dont they? Hey, I'm almost 17 and I've done horrible stuff before and we all do it when we are young. What I would advise you to do is NOT send any texts or calls to anybody and just leave the phone switched off on the kitchen counter. If your parents know you are going out and want you to take your phone just tell them "Well, your always keeping track of what I'm doing on it so I'm not going to use it. I want my privacy and I want trust from you to give me another chance."
