So I had a nasty virus, removed it from the control panel, but now my antivirus' and malwarebytes won't work..even in safe mode! It says I do not have permisson. My computer runs slow as anything! Should I reformat or is there something else I can do? System restore did not work either :( Should I buy an antivirus (disk form from Best Buy NOT off interent) and try that? HELP!

Try using Trinity Rescue Kit http://trinityhome.org/Home/index.php?wpid=1&front_id=12 first. Download, burn, boot into the LiveCD, mount the HDD, scan with all the AV products available.
If that fails then you will have to reinstall the OS.

hey,dont buy anti-virus disk,just format your computer using windows.jst make sure before formating you back all your important files to the removable disk.

ok, i solve your problem, insert a disk of XP or Vista whatever your pc support then you just right click on your c drive and you can see there is a option like"formate your drive" so you click it.
