What months are considered a winter wedding?

Is early December considered a winter wedding or a fall wedding (I know it technically is fall). I am 'thinking' of doing pine cones and/ or cranberries or something like that for centerpieces (I am not positive) I just want to make sure it makes sense. So, what would the time frame be for a winter wedding?

-date is not set in stone which is why I want to make sure I pick correctly.

I would consider a winter wedding in:

December
January
February
and maybe March.

Pine cones and cranberries sound like a fantastic idea!!

Even though the first 21 days of December are technically fall, I think its common to associate December with winter, so I don't think your ideas will look out of place at all. To answer your question, I would say December through March would be the time frame for a winter wedding, I'm sure its all relative to location though.

I still think of early December as fall, but I think I'm kind of weird about that.

Pine cones and cranberries seem fine for December, though, whether it's Fall or Winter.

I think it depends upon where you live. I am in Pennsylvania and would definitely put December as a winter wedding (pretty much December through February are "winter" here, but sometimes even March can be snowy).
I think pinecones &/or cranberrries would look fine in December.

I live in Ohio, so for me a winter wedding would be from December to March.
