They will do what they must do to get this spending and debt under control. They offered to vote yes if the democrats would agree to reduce spending in some other, less important area. The democrats refused. Democrats are like children with a charge card, they think they can buy anything they wish. The USA is headed for bankruptcy. That will not be pretty at all.

If they plan on getting reelected, Republicans will go as far as they need to go to stop the Democrat out-of-control spending. It isn't rocket science to realize you can't continue to spend money you don't have, and borrow money you can't repay. Liberals don't seem to realize nothing is free, someone, somewhere, sometime, pays for everything. They are great at spending other people's money. Last November they were sent a message, many of them still don't get it.
