White blister or tooth behind my cat's front top teeth?

Question

Starting 2 days ago, I noticed strong foul odor coming from my 2 year old female cat's mouth.
She always had those bad breaths that i believe any other cat's have, but it just became too strong recently.

So, while I opened her mouth while she is sleeping ,and noticed white blister or tooth right behind my cat's top teeth. I couldn't quite figure out if it's a blister or just another tooth.. any idea on what this could be and if this is associated with any dental disease?

if this helps, she has recently lost two whiskers (which is natural, but just to let you know..) and she is eating and playing like usual, which doesn't seem like it's bothering her. And also, she used to be a stray a year ago if this helps also.

It could be a deciduous tooth that never fell out, but that's unlikely.  It might be a puncture wound from something sharp she munched on that is abscessing, gum overgrowth, or a lesion.  I would schedule an exam for your cat and talk about possibly scheduling a dental cleaning (which requires anesthesia) and home dental care for your pet (dental chews, water additives, and teeth brushing).

It probably is very well associated with dental disease.  Take the cat to a veterinarian and have her mouth examined.  You can talk to the vet about scheduling a dental cleaning at that point.

Better safe than sorry! Take her to her veterinarian. It could be an infection since it does sound that it could be. I don't know anything about cats but I do know it could be a health concern. And if you picked her up from the street but never gave her shots, then you might as well do it
