What are some examples of English novelists whose native language wasn't English?

I am looking for examples of well known authors who wrote in English but whose native language wasn't originally English. Off the top of my head, I can think of Joseph Conrad. Kazuo Ishiguro comes to mind, but then he moved to England as a child.

Vladimir Nabokov was Russian, but wrote in several different languages, including English. His best-known novel is Lolita. He's known for his English prose, and many consider him to have a better command of the English language than most native writers.
