ODLH confirms Pacquiao camp agrees...?
to blood testing on his Twitter...He writes "Good news: Arum agrees to blood testing". This is great news, because to me, the one "supposed" major hurdle in making this fight happen was blood testing. Now that it's been agreed to, are there any other hurdles that can stop this fight from happening? Does this indicate that negotiations have ALREADY begun for the Pacquiao Mayweather fight? If the fight doesn't happen after the Marquez, Ortiz fight, who would you hold responsible?

One more thing...Does this give you hope that we can expect Top Rank - Golden Boy fights in the future? That would be great for boxing!

Red Boy - nobody said Arun agreed to "Mayweather's terms". ODLH said he agreed to random blood testing. Two different things. Let's hope that Mayweather doesn't NOW say, it has to be conducted by USADA. Why does the drug testing protocal have to be on "Mayweather's terms" anyway? If they've agreed to the same protocal, only by a different governing body, then I'd love to see how Money would justify him not taking the fight because it's not "on his terms". If that happens, I'd love to see who can justify Mayweather not taking the fight.
And how do you KNOW they're not negotiating NOW? Mayweather's been very vocal about fighting Pacquiao lately...it could be happening behind the scenes without anyone really knowing.
Red Boy - I think we're on the same page...I'm just saying, how can Money expect everything to be done HIS way? Of course he can say, it's my way or the highway, but the point of negotiating is COMPROMISE. And to me, that's what Team Pac is doing. If you remember, Team Pacquiao's original terms are..whatever the standard drug testing protocals are already in place. They are negotiating and bending to find MIDDLE GROUND, i.e. agreeing to random blood testing, just not by USADA. Money is holding firm and not budging one bit. How would fans continue to defend those demands?
The point of negotiating is finding common ground with "give and take" that BOTH parties can live with. If Team Pac agrees to random blood testing by another sanctioning body, then it's not "his terms". His terms are standard drug testing protocal. They've given into the random blood testing, so I'm not sure how you can say, it's HIS terms, when they didn't want it in the first place. Remember negotiating is about finding a middle ground. Random drug testing by another body is middle ground. Will Money also give some in order to take some? Or would he hold firm to HIS way (Random drug testing all the way up to the fight BY USADA)? As I mentioned, Team Pacquiao didn't agree to Money's terms, they agreed to random blood testing which was a major obstacle in the previous negotiations. I understand Money's terms are Money's terms and he has the right to refuse, but at the same time, it "seems" to me that Team Pacquiao is trying to find middle ground while Money is not.
Red Boy - I agree with that. It would easier to agree completely. The only problem is the huge ego's involved. Pacquiao isn't Mosley and he's not Ortiz. He's the other cash cow of boxing, so he does have leverage. Not only would he make the biggest payday of his life against Money, but Money would ALSO make the biggest payday of his life against Pacquiao. When both parties have that kind of leverage, it's hard for one side to agree completely with the other.
