What cat litter smells less?
I want to get a cat but my mom is a little unsure about the cats litter box smell. She doesn't want her home to smell.

We have had cats for years and have tried many different kinds of litter. Some are better than others; some are dustier than others. We have the best luck with Tidy Cat for Multiple Cats, even if you have only one. Also, get the kind you can scoop. Fill the litter box to about4 inches the first time. Scoop out waste everyday and add a small amount more litter. Continue doing this and change( start fresh ) after 3-4 months by emptying all and putting all new in again. Our litter box never smells. We keep the box in our spare bedroom closet.

I use feline pine as do a lot of cat breeders. When the pellets get wet - they turn to a sawdust-like material. You can get a special litterbox to go with this product that allows you to shake the dust to the bottom of the 2 tier box and empty it without wasting the rest of the litter pellets. You can scoop out the feces and flush. I use less litter this way and it doesn't' smell. It is also very eco-friendly. I use the dirty litter in my garden as it makes a great fertilizer.

It wont stink up the home, depending on where you place the litter box. Mine is in the basement. I suggest putting it in a bathroom or in a room far from the kitchen and rest of the house, if possible.
Buy any premium clumping cat litter and scoop it often.
