Folklore says there are foods that start labor. Does anyone have a real experience that would prove this?
And what food or foods did you eat? Thanks!

EDIT : I am a registered nurse so I am well aware of the need for a full-term pregnancy. As I said this is only a question related to folklore , and I personally doubt if there are any foods that would initiate labor even in a full 40 week pregnancy, or beyond.

It's all a bunch of garbage. Labor won't start until the body and baby tell it to or unless it's forced to by way of induction in the hospital. Certain things can help speed labor if it's already started and is progressing slowly, but it won't start labor. For those women who tried something that "worked" to get labor started were either in the very early stages of labor without knowing it or were getting ready to go into labor with or without what ever they tried that they claimed put them into labor.
I didn't try to speed along labor. It is so very important that the baby stays in utero as long as possible to develop properly. The only time induction should happen is when the mom or baby are in danger. Labor should be allowed to happen naturally, no matter how much the mom doesn't want to be pregnant anymore.
Interesting query. To let you know the reality, I particularly do not pay concentration to these---the one reviews having to do with Heaven and Hell that I pay concentration to are those by means of the Saints-----on the grounds that those men and women had been certainly very holy, adored God immensely and served Him to the maximum in their talents (to not point out those reviews did not in general come to them once they had been close demise or supposedly died).
