People try to say God is not real why?

Unicorns are real too. I know because there isn't any evidence that shows that there aren't unicorns. Who are you to say that there aren't unicorns since you're just a mortal?

I don't know if there are aliens or not. I think there is a small possibility, but that is neither here nor there. Ghosts are make believe.

I wouldn't genuinely beg for god's mercy. I might pretend to if my life depended on it. Why wouldn't I though? I like living enough to pretend to beg for god's mercy if it came down to that.

First, before I answer (yet again, to the same question that's been ask 1000 times today). Randomly capitalizing doesn't add emphasis, it makes you look crazy. In fact, it makes people take you much less seriously, so if you want us to truly consider what you're saying, don't hurt your credibility by simply doing silly things like poor grammar and weird capitalizing.

I've said it before, others have said, and I"ll say it again. I'm not saying there's no possibility of there being a god, but when you look at the evidence, there's very little probability of there being a god. This is the same for aliens, ghosts, etc. If you put a gun to my head, I might start hoping things are going to work out fine, but I"m not just going to start believing in god simply because of a threat of violence. However, the point from this should be that when people feel so out of control of their lives, that's when they fall back to religion. It's a way of hoping someone else is in control and things will be ok, but that's not proof of anything, that's just desperation.

In the end, the most likely answer is there's no god. Could there be? Sure. Could there be ghosts, aliens, leprechauns, Zeus, Wotan, etc, sure, but it's not very likely. And this is the problem with not being able to prove he doesn't exist. Theists act like that's a strong point, but it's just being intellectually honest. No, we can't prove it, but we can prove that it's highly unlikely, and that's more than theists can prove about god existing.

God's mercy? Where is He when children in Haiti are starving in abject and horrible poverty? Where is He when women and children get raped, beaten, and killed in the Darfur region every week? Where is He when people suffer from degenerative, wasting diseases?

There is no mercy because there is no God. Why do we look at the negative side of things? Because they are REAL. The things I named EXIST. You want to talk about God existing? Bring proof, don't give me platitudes or random words thrown on your computer. I can prove the things exist that I named. Where is your God's mercy for those things?

Bring a gun to my head like your last paragraph. Don't be surprised if the last thing you taste is your own gunpowder. I won't be waiting for God to act. I know that would be a case of waiting forever, because God isn't there.

Im not really sure what u asked, but I think I know. Honestly who really cares. God doesnt need you to defend his honor. He can do that himself on Judgement day. You sound really close to being an extremist Christian. Bring God to all pagans and death who wont convert. "Praise the lord and pass the ammuniton." It wont be you who burns in hell for all eternity and its not your place on Earth to pass judgement. Those things arent your burden to bear. You really need peace obviously so I will pray for you.

@The Doc Thats why God is so great! You have free will to do what you want. Those ppl in Africa (Darfur) make their choice to murder,steal and rape. Ppl in India choose to sell women as sex slaves. If the God intervened in everything that went wrong in the world what would be the point of heaven? The world would already be heaven if those things didnt exist. If God did what you want him to do , like jump in and stop a rape, wouldnt we be just like dolls? Doing whatever pleases him all the time and have no will or choice. You being able to loathe the idea of a God is one great reason of why He is so great!

Some people look for attention by saying that kind of stuff. But try to understand what they think, ask them. then try to get them to believe in christ. We are all here to spread the word. Who believes in god jesus and him alone then that person is to have Eternal life.
