Hotel lobby challenge?

What sort of material and/or design would you use to create a fairly lightweight piece of artwork (3-D) that would be around 25 feet high that hangs from the ceiling of a hotel lobby? It's at a ski resort. There's all this soaring open space and a piece of art would look really good in there. Ideas, anyone?

The pictures at the bottom of this page http://www.mikegigi.com/firthm/mobiles.htm
show a mobile with huge volume that was built by me 50 years ago of light materials using the trick of line guyed support bows. On the same page are some of Calder's answers. You can also look up some of the monsters that Dale Chihuly has put together.

I would think cardboard, Styrofoam, or balsa wood, maybe a model of a skier soaring through the open space, made with a plastic manikin.
