No response to my Thanksgiving text, so what does it mean?

Question

I went on a first date this past Monday which I thought went well, and for the previous week and a half we called and texted each other almost everyday. We didn't communicate on Tuesday and sent a couple short texts on Wednesday.

Today I sent a text wishing a Happy Thanksgiving personalized to them, (So not to think it was a mass text) and haven't heard back.

Does this mean they're ignoring me and maybe they lost interest? Also, if they go the whole day without saying anything to me and make up an excuse later, should I even accept it or just move on, cause they blew it?

I feel like I go through this too. I've been talking to someone as well. We'd hang out & everything would be fine, and it would seem like we are both into each other, but when it comes to texting, we'd talk every day & suddenly, they'd stop replying, and its pretty annoying huh ? I usually just blow it off and not worry about it. Some people are good texters and some aren't. Just ask them what their deal is if it bugs you that much, be honest, and if you really think they are worth it, keep talking to them

Happy Thanksgiving.  The holidays are busy so I wouldn't take the person not responding to my text as an insult.  Ask the person straight forwardly if you two are the same page, do you both see a future for the two of you?  Honesty and straight forwardness are the best ways to know for certain what is going on.  Ask and see what kind of response you get...and then take it from there.  All the best!
