does swelling heal during the day?

I got a tooth pulled out and my gums cleaned and im on antibiotics. My cheek is swollen up it healed from before but it is still swollen and i need it gone by tommorow. Does the swelling heal during the day while im awake? Also what can i dont to make it go away faster?

Yes the swelling will heal while you're awake, but at a slower rate than when you're asleep because your body is doing other activities. Also keep ice on it and it will help.
