Just had my wisdom teeth pulled is this normal?!?

I just had my wisdom teeth (all 4) pulled last Friday 5days ago and the only pain I have is on my left bottom side. I looked in the mirror tonight and noticed the gum surrounding my bottom left molar is pulling away from my tooth and it looks a little inflamed compared to the other side of my jaw and I've also had an ear ache only my my left side! So I'm wondering if it's normal for the gums to pull away from my tooth like that or should I call the oral surgeon in the morning?

Yeah it will eventually heal back to normal.

Yes it's normal. I had all four taken off two weeks ago. Had pain and ear ache on my left side.
