What does the 'cowardly' in Revelations 21:8 mean/pertain to?

Revelations 21:8

"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Do they refer to Christians with social anxiety and introvert Christians?

Allowing fears of what other people may think or do to prevent you from doing what is right.

John 12:42-43 says, "Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God."

These people were afraid of what the Pharisees would do if they confessed their belief in Christ, so they did not confess.

In Matthew 10:28 Jesus said, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

Revelation 2:10 says, "Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."
