I gave up drinking beer for awhile, but I had three last weekend and then one yesterday. Both times, after the first beer, I seem to get a headache. The more I drink, the worse it gets. Is this anything to do with beer or just a coincidence?

I am drinking the same brand I was drinking before.... and when I stopped, I didnt give up alcohol altogether, just beer (was drinking hard booze and wine with no problems).

Maybe you should tuck your vagina away. Then you may not get a headache. And did someone really mention Boones farm? my parents used to drink that like 30 years ago.
The headache is from the alcohol in the beer, not the beer its self. Alcohol deprves your body of vitamins, and dehydrates you. Just drink past the headache.
I used to be the same way when I would drink an A-B product (Badweiser/Busch). I used to work there, so I asked a brewmaster about it. His response was that I was getting them from something in the beer...A-B uses a lot of corn and/or rice in all of their beers.
I only drink Grolsch and Guinness now and don't get the headaches...but then again, they only use water, barley, hops, and yeast.
I get a headache the next day, and I only ever have 1 bottle of beer. If I drink rum, I'm ok. Boonesfarm, I'm ok. But Leinenkugels, I have a headache like a hangover. I think it could be the beer.
