Where can I meet someone like myself online?

I'm 17 and I'm looking for new friends. The place I live and the school I go to are filled with people nothing like myself. I'm interested in finding people like me, so I want to fill out something like I'm guessing match or eharmony would make me fill out, but I just want friends. Any idea of a site I could meet people with similar interests/opinions/views? Facebook doesn't work because I can't add people all willy-nilly like that.

I know this sounds generic, but try Omegle; at the beginning of the session, you can put in common interests and talk from there! I've tried it with Hetalia (since I love Hetalia) and it's awesome :3
