My boyfriend got arrested for weed lastnight it was his first time he was carring a couple of small baggys of weed with him will he do time in jail or since its his first time being arrested will he only have to pay a fine or attend probation

No jail for simple possession. There is a chance he'll have to do probation. In Ohio its 150 fine if there's no paraphernalia.

No jail. The biggest penalty to pay will be getting through life unable to spell..you should both lay off the weed and start paying attention in school..though frankly it might be too late.
