All convictions will stay on your record for life. Sometimes, after 10 years a potential employer may choose to overlook it, but the conviction stays forever.

Unfortunately, the charge stays on your record if you're over eighteen years of age. You may have your record expunged after seven years, however. See a criminal attorney who can help you with this simple process.
