What kind of out-of-the-box events would be cool to hold for college students?

Hey guys, I'm the secretary for my dorm's Residence Hall Association. It's the job of me and my colleagues to plan events. Last year we had a really cool & popular event where we went to a trampoline complex and it was a boatload of fun. I'm just wondering if there are other events that are above and beyond the standard events we hold like ice cream night and stuff. 

*****TLDR***** What are some cool events out of the ordinary I could consider hosting?

***ANY*** suggestions welcome, no matter how "stupid" you think they are.

Hi Alex! Your dorm is lucky to have you and your colleagues at the helm of planning these fun things! It's tough for me to think of something that sounds more fun than a trampoline night, haha! :)

I'm not sure if any of these ideas are as awesome and unusual as the trampoline event, but here are some ideas:

Tour of a local factory or trip to a museum

Trip to a local sports event

Volunteering as a group to do something such as serve meals at a shelter, or do some painting or clean up for a community organization

Geocaching

Scavenger hunt

Have fun! :)
