Would it be okay to bathe my cat?

We live in a wooded area, and my cat is indoor/outdoor. She's a longhair and she always comes inside mildly dirty to really dirty. Burrs are also always stuck to her fur and I have to pick them out because she won't. I brush her every other day if not every day, and sometimes there's just so much dirt. She has a lot of white on her too.

Would it be okay to bathe her once or month or every 2 months?

I should add that I used to have to bathe her once a week when she was a kitten because she wouldn't clean herself, so bathing her wouldn't be anything new.

Yes, but make sure you use a special cat shampoo, and do not wash her face. If she is dirty on her face use a damp cloth. Also make sure you wash her with mild temp water, and have a treat or two to give her while you are towel drying her. Keep her in the house until she is dry, try setting up a little bed/comfy spot in the sunlight by a window so she dries faster and does not get a cold. It is better to give her a bath when she comes back really dirty, and brush her/use damp cloth when she is a little bit dirty than having a once a month routine (because who knows when she will be really dirty and not so much).

I bath my long haired indoor Persian once every 6 months(mainly to remove dirt, feces & urine acumulation).I think cats in general are very clean animals but it's ok to bath them once every 6 months and not more than that since their skin tends to dry out and when a cat is bathed, you also remove the cat's natural skin oils which are beneficial to the cat in keeping its skin hydrated and it's fur glossy.Try to find a safe & mild shampoo as well, ask the vet to recommend you a high quality shampoo(it's worth the money, and it will last you a long time since you only need a small nickel size amount per bath.My Veterinarian recommended me a mild high quality shampoo that costed $17 dollars(6FL Oz tube!)and I've had it for 2 years so far.

convinced you could provide her a bath i supply my 5 cats a bath each month and if she previous and pungent i might want to def supply her a bath so as that way you could cuddle with her basically save her warmth after the bathtub and help her dry off with a towel all should be high quality she might want to be somewhat mad at you for somewhat yet she will be able to be a lot happier contained ultimately
