If f(x) is an odd function and f(-3)=5, what is f(3)?
Please show me how you do this type of problem if you can. :)

Um well this is literally the problem on my homework. The function f(x) is an *odd function* Hopefully that makes more sense.

If f(x) is an odd function, and when the input is negative and comes out positive, then I think that what it is getting at is that when the input is positive, the output will be negative. Odd functions, when graphed, have ends going in generally opposite directions/quadrants (unlike a parabola). If this is truly the COMPLETE homework question, it may have to be assumed that the answer is -5, also assuming that the function is very basic without any strange transformations.
