I am watching the Switched at Birth episodes for the first time on netflix. I finished episode 22 about Emmett telling Bay he cheated. I go to episode 23 and Bay has been on a trip and her mom already put out the book, did I miss something? Seems like alot happen and they havent said it was vacation or anything.

well, season 23 starts off fresh from summer and with bay and daphne entering a new schoolyear. bay went on a summer trip and returns with a "boyfriend." catherine released/published her book in the summer.

i don't remember exactly how they fill out in, but episode 22 leaves off in spring and episode 23 is at the beginning of a new school year; so a lot happened over the summer (which we don't get to see) but they kind of tell you about it as the season goes on.
