So I know Gamestop does trade ins on USED games. But I got a couple of BRAND NEW games still sealed that I dont want. I tried selling them off on Craigslist, no luck. But I cant return them to the store. I bought them off ebay, and never got around to opening them.
Anyways would Gamestop do trade ins for NEW games? If they do, would they give more store credit since they are new than a used copy?

The 3 games I got now that I want to sell are God of War 3, God of War Origins, and Playstation Move Heroes.
Not sure if that helps haha

Yes, they will take those games. It will depend on what they are though, if you are able to list what games they are, that will be helpful.
However, they will most likely pay the same price that you'd get if it was pre-owned. The reason for this is because even though they are sealed, gamestop has that policy where their employees will open the games and play them to see if they work, then they re-seal them and sell them at the new price. If they were to pay more, than people would re-seal games themselves and get the higher price even though they may not be exactly new. If you ask them they'll probably say, "Well, we cannot determine if it really is new or not." or something along the lines of that. So in the end you'll probably get the pre-owned price.
I saw someone buy Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for 3DS but their son had a DSi. She asked if she can trade it in (she bought it for $40 and it was still sealed.) She got about $9 for it.
places like that rip you off offering no longer something for the video games and systems and that they turn around and sell them at a extreme income if i've got been you and needed money i w/grant to sell them to friends, ebays or hell even a yardsale .. i offered 2 video games at a yardsale final week for 10 each and each
