What is the point of this question? To get one of your multiple personalities an opportunity to post answers, so you can give more thumbs down to legitimate answers?

In answer to your question. I would absolutely live in Cuba as a Cuban. I would not live there was a tourist, as I would not be afforded the same benefits as a Cuban. As a mother, Cuba is an infinitely better place to raise a child than almost anywhere else in the world.

I agree with Gosol, if I could immigrate to Cuba I would it fits my criterion of places that if I could I would retire to. Warm climate, stable government, social programmes, state run healthcare, low/no taxes, no Americans. My pension would go a LOT further there than here.

Although I'm not sure if I would do it as a winter holiday home or permanent resident all year around.
