Okay so being the noob that i am, i actually played crisis core before i played ff7(yes i know) however it did make the storyline a hell of a lot easier to understand and just wondering who do you prefer: look-wise, attitude, fighting (remember cloud never was in SOLDIER). Zack's my pick just cuz he's more ambitious and had a tragic end T_T

Zack Fair because he is the original(story wise not game release wise) I do like Cloud and all but he's unoriginal in a way, i mean for example, his fighting stance is Zack's stance.
Look-wise- Zack, I love how his characters develops and changes appearance throughout the story. Like after the fight with Angeal: He gets the scar then we see a time skip in which he's finally a first class SOLDIER, and he just look plain epic!
Attitude- I love Zacks attitude, he always tries his best to stay positive. He is truly an inspiring character. We get to see a country boy turn into a man in his struggles to achieve his dreams.
He never gave up his honor, not once and he always fought for a greater cause, for other, not just for himself. He's funny and likable also.
On the other hand, Cloud becomes all depressive after FF7(in advent children the movie) I find his personality lacking. He's more of a written-paper(don't get me wrong I like Cloud too). When I say written-paper I mean that his just the character's lines, we don't get to feel his actual essence as a person character.
Fighting- Also Zack. I do love Cloud's fighting style when he has multiple swords but...Cloud ripped off Zack's style.In story-wise(not game release wise),perspective, Zack was the original and when Cloud fights, you see him using the same fighting stance as Zack.
Zack is honestly a character that makes you want to try harder to achieve want you wish.
I'll never forget..."embrace your dreams, and whatever happens...protect your honor as SOLDIER!"
And hey , i don't think you're a noob, not all of use have to play the games in the same order :)

Vincent is obviously the more handsome, adopted by means of Zack and then Cloud, although to be sincere, i would not be antagonistic to a gangbang with all of them them in the event that they have been actual XD
