I think they look the same, pretty much.

Zack has brown hair, Cloud is blond.

hmm, if i was goig to answer this about 2 months ago i owuldve said cloud, but since i replayed ff7 crisis core ..XD

im going with Zack

well cuz Zack is a really lovable character in my opinion, nice and outgoing, he's cool too, well cloud is cool too but cloud distances himself from everyone while zack pretty much tries to get to close to a person, er thats what i think a tleast. Zack is also friendlier and..er..like i said, overall he's a llikable character.

Now that he's dead, I go for Cloud

I prefer Zack. I think he was special. He also made it into SOLDIER.

Cloud. I played as him the whole damn time in VII (Except for that whole Lifestream thing...), so why wouldn't he be my preferred?

Honestly, Zack's better.

Because he's not dense.
