Before I spend money on buying it, I'd just like some idea of what it's closest to in taste. I love all rice except brown rice. Barley is OK only in soup and only sometimes. Just curious as to what it tastes closest to.

I'm not sure... it's not dissimilar to brown rice. But really, it's nicer in dishes where you use a lot of other flavours. I made Quinoa and Black Beans a lot, and this includes spices such as paprika.
