Why does quinoa look like rice?

it just does not -it looks more like cous cous to me

Quinoa doesn't look like rice, and it's not related to rice. It's practically seeds from a crop...not grains. Look at quinoa up close...tell me what kind of rice that looks like to you?

Well, Quinoa's mom was married to Barley, but apparently she wasn't faithful if Quinoa looks like Rice. Too bad Rice won't cough up the child support.

It looks like little tiny springs. No rice...., even uncooked it is more round then rice.

I don't think it looks like rice at all. It looks like little tiny Frisbees or bell pepper seeds to me.
