Yes I have. I've made bread with it too. Also amaranth. Quinoa is kind of nutty and 'toasty' tasting. Very nice. I used to 'collect' different grains to make multi-grain bread. I found other ways to use them too, like sprinkling a little of some other grain in rice when I made it, just to give it some texture. Quinoa, millet, wheatberries, or whatever I had around.
These days, though, I'm diabetic and my diet is not so grain-based as it used to be. 8^)

EDIT: Ok, I just found it on wikipedia. quinoa is closely related to species such as beets!!!!! =) Wow! You everything about beets Mr. Schrute! lol!

yes! i have bag of it in my pantry, they are just little grains so i mush them up with a banana and eat them that way
