I asked a question and wanted to edit it. Additional Details block came up. I added to my question and YA printed that 4 times.
Used to be if I caught a mistake in, say, spelling, I could correct it by clicking Edit. Now they only allow you to put in additional details. How can I get rid of the repetitions on my question? People must think I'm nuts putting the same thing in 4 times. Can you suggest a remedy?

We've never had the option to change or delete what has already posted on a question.
On answers, yes. But not questions. Not even to correct for spelling.
Your best option is to delete the question and re-ask it, but be sure to PREVIEW the question and make necessary corrections before clicking 'Submit'.

You have the option of deleting your question. You could ask it again after deleting it, but yeah, you can't edit out the additional details.
