okay so now that summer has started we are going to the pool, and so me and some girls and guys were at a girl's pool, and the guys told me to sit on their lap... I did, and the guys were joking about getting a *****?? Why would they get a *****?

well, because of the way guys think they get turned on easily by touch. And at the pool when you are in a bathing suit there is less fabric between you and them... they like the idea and they like where your body is contacting theirs. Be careful sitting on their laps in little clothing and be careful what guys lap you sit on.
