New tongue piercing?

I just got my tongue pierced about 2 days ago and its swollen and its bleeding... is this normal? What can i do to fix it??? It doesnt hurt really its just soar but idk if its normal that its bleeding and stuff. Ive heard to keep it in for a week n if its not better take it out? I dont want to take it out cause i really like it i didnt pay all that just to take it out.

Swelling is normal after first getting it done but it should NOT be bleeding. Keep cleaning it and take some ibuprofen to help the swelling go down, also try sucking on ice. If i were you, I would call the place that I got it pierced at and tell them that it's been bleeding.
