why does it feel like my heart stops?

My boyfriend has been telling me that his chest hurts a lot and he feels like his heart stops for a second. He also said it makes it hard for him to breath... are they heart strokes? or what? i'm really worried about him. PLEASE HELP!

Also, he smokes weed... does that have to do with that? Does weed make it worse?
