Has anyone ever made thumbprint cookies using lemon curd?
My recipe has the raspberry or peach preserves at the beginning of bake time. Would lemon curd survive that oven time?

yes it will but be sure to put as much in the dip as you can as if there is not a lot it will dry up. Try peanut butter too!

I would just bake the thumbprint cookies without the filling then pipe it in using piping bag or ziplock sandwich bag with corner cut off.
In the bakery we filled those with fudge icing piped in after they were cooled. I think the lemon curd would work the same way.

Meyer lemons have an extreme candy lemony kind, yet they are lots extra advantageous delicate than well-known lemons so they’re no longer so nutrition marketplace-friendly. in case you’re in California they’re attainable everywhere, yet for those people in diverse factors of the country/worldwide, attempt staring at “gourmet” groceries or at a farmer’s markets on an comparable time as they are in season (previous due wintry climate - early spring). you will desire to replace for well-known lemons, yet you're able to would desire to strengthen the quantity of sugar.
