Need advice on what's my next step with this girl?

Question

Ok. First a short history about this girl:

So there's this girl I like in this Meet Up group I go to every once and awhile. Over the summer, I went to a Meet Up group where a bunch of us met to go see a movie. She was the first person I met and we hit it off right away. But since it was a Meet Up group and not a dating thing, I didn't feel comfortable asking her out. Plus I didn't know her situation. Then I don't see her again...

...meanwhile, I can't get her off my mind. But I let life move on.

...almost 3 mths later, I join a Meet-Up runners group just because I think it would be fun. And guess who's there? The same girl! And she remembers me. We run and talk and are silly just like on that movie thing. I hesitate again asking her because I wasn't sure if she was seeing anyone or not.

So just today, I see that she's added herself to Plenty of Fish. So the only thing really holding me back is answered.

My question is this: Do I message her on PoF to say "Hey" and ask her out? Or wait til the next running group and do it in person...which is about 5 days away?

I'm leaning towards the running group and waiting because it's personal...but it's awhile...and she'd no doubt get tons of messages from dudes online.
Thoughts?

hey it sounds like you really like her and it sounds like you get along quite well which is always good :D how old are you might I ask? i'd say ask her in person if you can take her on a date or ask her to hang out with you just you two so your hinting to her that you would like to get to know more about her and it will show your interested in her aswell. Just see how it goes you have nothing to lose she can either say yes or no, if she says no then just carry on being friends with her if you enjoy her company or try and persuade her and say that we can just hang out as friends then, that will show you respect her decision to not make it a date but you never know when she spends time with you as 'friends' she might think perhaps she likes you more that just hanging as friends, but dont get your hopes up thats all it's like with all decisions that your unsure about it's taking a risk and going into the unknown but if you never take that risk you will never know what her answer would be and nothing may never develop between you two romantically, it's up to you but im just giving my opinion i hope that I helped you :) and i hope it goes well !

Go ahead and contact her on POF and tell her you're going to be at the Meet and would like to partner up running along with her. Then at the meet ask her out on a date maybe even for that night.
