Yes I did caugt the news a while back. I think its called EBR 1190RX if I remember right. Yes road legal AMERICAN sports bike is out again, but I won't be surprised if its get smoked from a Ducati Panigale or KTM RC8R AGAIN! But then AGAIN, one should appreciate the efforts of Buell, I though it was DEAD! I really like a new kid in V-Twin areana!!! Kudos to Erick Buell. I wonder if Harley Davidson has anything to do with this Super Bike??? I think HD is not the parent company anymore, right???

Dimo & Jason....Do either of you REALIZE that Austrian ROTAX, is only the "builder" of Buell's new engine design???? Erik Buell and HIS engineer's 100% designed that 1125 engine that is now 1190, and only "contracted" Rotax to build it for them. To buy an engine building facility and tool it up to build this engine would have cost Buell (and HD at the time), approx. $140million (by HD/Buell's own statements).....it was cheaper to contract a reputable ENGINE MANUFACTURER to do it for them........think about this........does Rotax build ANY ACTUAL VEHICLES????....NO!!!!......all they do is engines, of all types, roughly 60% of all Rotax's engine were designed by the the VEHICLE Mfg---NOT ROTAX!!!!!

This is the same as the automotive field----RODECK and ROUSCH.....they don't build cars....they build engines, based on car manufacturers designs and when possible, in conjunction with the mfg's...they can improve on and build bigger and better.

Dimo....research and learn your facts before you comments.

At first glance it looks like a RC8 has been grafted onto a Fireblade.

What is going on with the front brake, is that a cooling duct?

An "AMERICAN sport bike" with an Austrian heart, Swedish legs, etc.. Very little much is totally American.

Nope, but is there really a question here or just a declaration of sorts.
