Favorite Answer

Cleveland Bay!

They're big, but not overly tall (usually around 16 h.)
They can jump like fleas.
They're known for having good dispositions
They're comparatively rare.
They're gorgeous.

They're also expensive -- well beyond what I can afford, so I will probably never own one :-(

I like many. Andalusians, Friesians, Arabs, Morgans, a nice Warmblood, Thoroughbred or Quarter Horse. Hard to pick just one.

Add: I think Andalusians and Friesians are just magnificent creatures.
Arabs are so versatile and love people and are incredible movers.
Morgans are smart, beautiful and versatile.
Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds are spectacular in the jumping and dressage arenas.
Quarter Horses are usually calm, gentle souls. I love the old type.
Forgot to add them, but I've also known some incredible Mustangs-so intelligent and hardy.

Thoroughbreds- they are excellent eventing and sport horses, and they can be a challenge, which I love
Quarter Horses- my friend has 4 and they are so versatile, and loveable
Clydesdale- they are so sweet and friendly
Warmbloods- they are sweet and love people
Shetland ponies- they are so cute!
Any large pony, like a 14hh size because they are just the size that when they stick their head up I can still reach :) lol

I've always been a big fan of Quarter Horses. They are wonderful horses that have a level head, can excel in pretty much any discipline and are great family horses.

Personally my favourite horse breeds are the stock horse and the OLD fashioned quarter horses... But clydesdales are also one of my favourites!
