i had my second interview with sears for an lp position 5 days ago. still says open-assessing?

the job submission status on the website still says open-assessing. is it normal for it to take this long? and from what they told me there was only one other candidate so i dont think it should take this long. anybody that works for sears or who knows about this can help?

i called the interviewer the evening of the day i had the interview because they said i would get an email that day. then they said 3-5 days. maybe they already hired someone and just never let me know?

You should call the interviewers to ask if they have made a decision. You can also send a email to the recruiter in which you can show interest in the position and ask them when they will make a decision
