Is my female jack Russell terrier going into heat?!?
Spotted wet blood spots on my bed sheets, small amounts. She hasn't given many signs, only licking herself a lot lately. Is she going into heat? She's approximately 7-8months.

If you are seeing drips, she IS in heat/season now. And as such, MUST be confined for the next 21 plus days, with especial care around days 10 - 14, much as not all b itches will stand to be mated then,.
What 'signs' other than dripping are you expecting? She's exactly the right age to start having seasons.
When this is all over - assuming you manage to keep her safe throughout (do not let her outside on her own for one second and take her off away from your property in your car, keeping her on a lead, if you must exercise her off your property at all) - book her spay for 2 months on from now.

Yes she's in heat. The constant licking is to keep herself clean. Please make sure you keep her away from any dogs over the next few weeks, and be sure to book an appointment with your vet to get her desexed.

Probably, keep her away from all intact males, when she finishes heat (4 weeks), have her spayed.

Sounds like it and is the right age.
PLEASE keep her very safe and do get her spayed half way between heat cycles.

get her fixed and you will never have to worry about this again
