Would the World have been different, if The Book of Job had stated explicitly that and why he was being punished?

If The Book of Job is the oldest in The Bible, that means that Mankind had to wait until Moses to learn that In The Beginning, God created Man to exercise dominion over the entire Earth.

. GENESIS 1:26-28.

The Bible God is depicted as being unsympathetic toward people who do not use all of their ten God-given faculties to the utmost.

These are, namely.

1. Total Recall.
2. ESP.
3. Telekinesis.
4. Teleportation.
5. Translation.
6-10. Transfiguration.

Asked which was The Greatest Commandment of The Law of God by Moses, Jesus cited the two greatest Commandments as being:

1. DEUTERONOMY 6:4-5.
2. LEVITICUS 19:18.

. MARK 12:28-34.

ANY PERSON WHO needs to be TOLD to exert themselves to the fullest must be a fool. The Bible God is depicted, from The Beginning, to be unsympathetic toward fools, while favouring those who "catch on quick." Even when the "Wiser Guy". Is wicked.

. LUKE 16:1-15.

GOD EVIDENTLY DISFAVOURS Worshippers who do not WORK HARD, and GO ALL THE WAY, following each step to the Next Level, to EVERY Logical/Practical Conclusion.

. JOB 28:28.
.
.
28. "And unto Man He said,
'The Fear of The Lord,
That (is) Wisdom;
And to depart from Evil
(is) Understanding."

JOB THE MOST Righteous man alive- was a non-starter in Divine Wisdom. Satan had more Wisdom than him, therefore he was able to nearly kill Job.

. JOB 1:6.

We had to wait about 1,300 years after MOSES to learn from JESUS-

. MATTHEW 22:1-14.

JOB SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE, TOO!

Here is a summary of what the Book of Job is all about:

Stop being a whining bee-atch

Life's hard and can throw unexpected problems

But, life can be good and can come up with nice surprises

Ultimately, whether you're good, or bad, everyone is entitled to enjoy and suffer all that life throws at you.

In the end, everyone endures the same thing.

No one, but, no one, should presume to know what God is thinking.

God helps those who help themselves

Life is what you make it

Although that pesky devil is an obstacle in your way, Satan does as he is told.

Ultimately it is God who judges whether you have led a good life, or bad.

Is that fecking deep, or what???!!

The world would be such a better place if Christianity was crushed like it should have been.

The story of job was all about a test of faith in itself.

No, no no.
Job was righteous. See:
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
and he worried and pleaded and sacrificed for his childrens sake. See:
d it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
Then God said to Satan, you aren't doing what I made you to do, you haven't tempted Job into sinning against my laws. See:
And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
And Satan said "How can I, you wont let me near him?" See:
9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

and then God and Satan made a bet on whether or not Job could be tempted into denying God. See:
11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

And then God said, "Do what you will with everything that he has, but DO NOT TOUCH HIS BODY. See:
12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

So, all the stuff that happened collaterally was Satan, and all the stuff that happened personally was God.

And, by Gods' own admission, Job was a righteous man.
You guys should stop letting the preacher tell this story and read it.

If you read the book of Job, you will see that Job had a good working knowledge of the Universe, Creation, and how one is punished or not punished.

The reason Job went through all that pain is because Satan slandered Job to God and God had to allow Job to prove himself. Once Satan was through because he saw that Job would not sin against his God, then God could bless him. The 'hedge' that was around Job was that God was keeping all the laws in effect. Once God allowed Satan to pervert those laws because Satan had slandered Job, then Job had problems even though he had not done anything to deserve them. Afterwards, God could reinstate those laws and bless Job through them.

PS Notice, too, how God restated all the laws of the universe which had all along proved God's existence.
