My husband want me to take my GED or else he leaving me for another woman. Can you help me with this situation?

I want to take my GED, but do I need to know if have to attend the GED School in order to take the test. Can I just go to a GED center to take my test?

No class is required to take your GED test, however it's wise to take one if you have doubts you'll pass the test...

My guess is that if you do pass it, he'll come up with something else to use to threaten you with...you two need to work on fixing your marriage...passing your GED won't change who you are as a person and will have only minor effect on your earning potential...

I don't think this is a ridculous demand. He wants her to have the equivalent of a high school degree-- not an outrageous demand at all. Besides, don't you want to be able to say you at least finished high school? As another person said, he wants someone somewhat educated, someone who can hold her own. I would want the same- no way would I spend my life with someone who hasn't even completed high school or made any effort to get their GED.

There are classes available, but you don't need a class if you can pass the test without one.

But what kind of marriage is that? What happened to "for better or for worse, till death do us part?"

If he threatens to leave you for another women if you don't get a GED then he doesnt really even love you.

This "my husband want me to take my GED or else he leaving me for another woman" is ridiculous. How can you not see how ridiculous that is? And this is the kind of man you want to be married to?
