FRIEND ADVICE? okay so lately iv been feeling uncomfortable with some of my friends, they are all really immature and i don't like it...?

I'm going to be straight up. This is high school. HIGHS CHOOL. That's it. It's just four temporary years. Four very drama packed, temporary years. Education is important, but what's more important is learning how to be comfortable and happy within yourself. Try talking to your friend group. They are your friends for a reason, and you must see something good in them. Explain that there are qualities you appreciate in them but don't like the way the can act sometimes. In certain situations all it takes is a good heart to heart talk. If you do want to branch away, just be comfortable and happy within yourself like I aid earlier. Be you, and like minded people will come. This cliquey mentality that you see in high school will pass. I know there are people not in groups! Find something in common with a few of them and start your own group. A loose group who don't always meet up together. I would not be able to hang with immature people. Or you and your group should find something they can focus on besides acting out. Talk to one of them, they'll help spread the word that you want to be more serious. Good luck but what's more important? Education!!...Show more

Trust me, my school isn't clique-y, but I am one of the mature ones of my group. I do, however, love my friends even though they're stupid and stuff, and would never leave them because I've gotten so close to them and can tell them anything. However, if you're looking to make new friends, find some activities they like to do. Maybe join a club they're in, try the things they like, etc....Show more
