So I downloaded a file that I needed to run a database and it had strings attached that are slowing down my computer.

I went to the windows DOS shell to use the erase command on the file but I am not allowed to do that. How can I change this?

The best way is to go to the service

You can use this command. May help you!
DEL [/P] [/F] [/S] [/Q] [/A[[:]attributes]] names
ERASE [/P] [/F] [/S] [/Q] [/A[[:]attributes]] names
All the best!
