Was it determined to be a homicide?

If so, who administered the hold that caused the death?

It was ruled a homicide. However, Eric Garner's autopsy results also stated that he died due to acute and chronic bronchial asthma, obesity and heart disease. A condition not known to police at the time. Also during the grand jury proceedings medical personnel stated a person that can not breath due to being choked would not be able to speak. This is the main reason for no indictment.

Probably suicide knowing the way the US justice system works when minority groups are concerned. When they're guilty of criminality they're brought to justice but when they're victims of crime justice is nowhere to be found.

Justice is always out to lunch when ethnic minorities are looking for it but at the desk at all other times it seems.
